Now introducing the Napp Motorsports line of Delrin Race Bushings. While polyurethane bushings have dominated the market for years, they have pitfalls when it comes to suspension bind and overall travel restriction. These bushings are a PTFE infused Delrin outer bushing with a 416 steel insert, and are offset in several locations for geometry correction. These are not very compliant in terms of street driving comfort as there's no rubber to absorb shock loads, but I have tested these on my 400WHP Turbo K Swap on the street and felt no real noticeable increase in NVH, and I have put these through the paces on my track car, from bouncing off curbs to even slamming into a wall at Watkins Glen and they are still going strong. The suspension feedback is reliable and repeatable, and there's no risk of binding/releasing mid corner to throw the car off the line. Long story short, if you're looking for a casual Sunday driver, these are not for you. If you're building anything from a canyon carver to a full fledged race car, these are what you're looking for.

Bushing Kit Includes:

  • Front Upper Control Arm Bushings (Inner - Caster Adjusted)
  • Front Lower Control Arm Bushings (Inner)
  • Rear Upper Control Arm Bushings (Inner - Eccentric/Offset)
  • Rear Upper Control Arm Bushings (Outer - Polyurethane)
  • Rear Lower Control Arm Bushings (Inner - 1 (Front) of 2 is Polyurethane)
  • Rear Lower Control Arm Bushings (Outer)

2 of the bushings are polyurethane to allow for proper compliance under load as the suspension wants to toe-in on bumps, As seen in the video, this doesn't effect ease of travel/cause appreciable bind.

The video of me lifting the suspension assembly is with all of the control arms torqued down.

I will be filming an install video on these once I get the first set back from machining and it will be listed up here for reference. Hoping to have it done before these ship out.

NOTES:

  • All bushings should be reamed prior to sleeve installation with a 0.875" Reamer. Offset bushings (rear uppers) should be installed using a long 0.875" bore tube to get consistent alignment.
  • Rear upper control arms are offset and need to be ream aligned (0.875" Reamer) once installed. This is a service I can provide, but it requires a core set of control arms to be shipped to me prior to completing the work. Service would be installation and reaming of the rear upper control arm bushings.
  • Full installation is available. I would require your full set of bushings prior to starting the work. Kit would be drop in ready when you get it back.
  • Any service done to your control arms is subject to an initial assessment of your control arms. If they are deemed damaged or worn out (rusty), they can not be used and cleaner units will need to be sourced.
